Description
This lot features three items of Pittsburgh Pirates Major League Baseball apparel. The collection includes a Majestic Cool Base home jersey, a Mitchell & Ness track jacket, and a logo t-shirt. The jersey is a white button-front style featuring the team name PIRATES across the chest in black and yellow tackle-twill. Manufacturer marks include a jock tag on the lower front reading ENGINEERED EXCLUSIVELY FOR Majestic MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL COOL BASE. It retains original hanging tags for Majestic and MLB Genuine Merchandise. The left sleeve bears an embroidered Majestic logo. The second item is a Mitchell & Ness Cooperstown Collection zip-up track jacket in black with white and yellow sleeve stripes. It features a yellow P logo on the left chest. Interior labels identify the maker as Mitchell & Ness, Philadelphia, PA, size XL, and include the Cooperstown Collection and MLB logos. The Mitchell & Ness name is also embroidered in white script on the lower right cuff. The third item is a dark grey or black short-sleeve t-shirt with a large, yellow screen-printed P logo on the front executed in a distressed style.
Condition report:
The Majestic jersey is in excellent condition and is new with original tags attached. The Mitchell & Ness track jacket is in good used condition with minor signs of wear. The t-shirt is in used condition, showing intentional distressing to the logo and general wear to the fabric.
