Description
Two US Mint Proof Sets dated 1968 and 1980. The 1980 set contains six coins: Susan B. Anthony dollar, Kennedy half dollar, Washington quarter, Roosevelt dime, Jefferson nickel, and Lincoln cent. These are housed in the original red plastic display holder. The 1968 set contains five coins: Kennedy half dollar (composed of 40 percent silver), Washington quarter, Roosevelt dime, Jefferson nickel, and Lincoln cent. This set is housed in the original black plastic holder and includes the blue cardboard outer envelope. All coins in both sets feature the S mint mark, indicating production at the San Francisco Mint. Each coin is a proof-quality strike characterized by mirror-like fields and frosted cameo devices. The sets are contained in their original government-issued packaging.
Condition report:
Both sets are in uncirculated proof condition. The plastic holders are free of significant scratches or cracks. The 1968 blue cardboard envelope shows minor shelf wear and retains a small price sticker on the front.
