Description
This wall-mounted candle lantern is constructed from dark-stained wood and clear glass panels. It follows a traditional or Colonial Revival design, featuring a vertical backplate with decoratively shaped upper and lower terminals. The lantern body is composed of a multi-sided wooden frame housing inset clear glass panes, supported from below by a single curved wooden bracket. A pre-drilled hole is present at the top of the backplate for mounting. The interior currently houses a single pillar candle. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the piece.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition. The wooden components show a consistent dark finish with natural wood grain and knots visible. The glass panels are intact without chips or cracks. No significant wear or damage is apparent to the structural elements.
