Description
This pintail hen duck decoy is a product of Lohman Manufacturing, located in Neosho, Missouri. The decoy is constructed of wood or a hard composite material and features a stippled tan and brown paint finish. The wing speculum is detailed with yellow, white, and black paint. The underside is equipped with a metal weight bar secured with screws and a metal tie-line ring near the chest area. The maker mark is stamped into the material on the underside, with LOHMAN appearing above the weight bar and NEOSHO stamped below it. The bird is modeled in a resting position with a slightly turned head and a long, tapering tail characteristic of the species.

Condition report:
The decoy shows signs of age and field use, including scattered paint loss and scuffs on the bill, head, and tail. A visible vertical crack is present on the left flank. The metal hardware exhibits light surface oxidation.
