Description
This hand-carved and painted wooden duck decoy depicts a drake American Wigeon. The piece is signed on the underside in black ink Patrick Vincenti. The decoy features a green head with a characteristic white forehead patch and purple highlights, transitioning into a light-colored body with dark grey painted wing and tail details. The construction includes a lead keel weight attached to the bottom and a metal screw eye containing a short length of twine. The carving style incorporates deep natural voids and cracks in the wood body.
