Description
Pennsylvania House triple dresser crafted from solid cherry in the Queen Anne Revival style. The rectangular top features a beveled edge above a case containing six drawers arranged in two columns of three, flanking a central two-door cupboard. The drawers are fitted with brass-toned batwing-style bail pulls. The central doors exhibit inset decorative panels with ogee-arched tops and are equipped with double drop-handle hardware. The piece is supported by a decoratively scalloped apron and four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The wood is finished in a rich, dark cherry stain with a satin luster. The construction and form are characteristic of Pennsylvania House furniture manufactured during the mid to late 20th century.
