Description
Sega Sonic & Knuckles video game cartridge for the Sega Genesis console. The cartridge is constructed of black plastic and features the unique Lock-on technology design, characterized by a top-loading cartridge slot protected by a flip-up hinged lid. The front label displays the Sonic & Knuckles logo, an icon of the character Knuckles, and the Official Sega Seal of Quality. The top lid features a molded arrow pointing toward five raised dots. The cartridge utilizes a standard 68-pin connector at the base for console insertion, with an additional female connector housed under the top lid to allow for the insertion of other Sega Genesis cartridges.
Condition report:
The cartridge is in good used condition. The black plastic casing shows visible surface scuffs, light scratches, and handling marks, particularly on the lower front face below the label. The paper label is intact and bright with minor wear along the edges. The internal connection pins show typical light wear from insertion into a console but remain free of significant corrosion. The top-loading connector slot appears clean, and the hinged lid mechanism is fully functional. Recessed areas show light dust accumulation.
