Description
This is a Sega CD-ROM version of the arcade fighting game Mortal Kombat, published by Arena, a division of Acclaim Entertainment, Inc., under license from Midway Manufacturing Company. The game was developed by Probe Software Ltd. and released for the North American NTSC region. The lot includes the original tall plastic Sega CD jewel case with its front and back cover art inserts. The back cover displays barcode 7 34549 00301 6 and part number #00301. The game disc features the matrix code CDAC 081500. Also included is a promotional paper insert for the Sega CD title WWF Rage in the Cage. Notably, the lot contains an instruction manual for Mortal Kombat II for the Sega Genesis system, which is a mismatch for the Mortal Kombat Sega CD game and case.
Condition report:
Media: The disc surface appears visually clean with very minimal signs of handling and no evidence of disc rot or deep scratches. Case: The clear plastic tall jewel case exhibits light to moderate surface scuffing and scratches consistent with age and shelf wear; the hinges and internal tray teeth remain intact. Manual: The mismatched Mortal Kombat II Genesis manual is in poor to fair condition, showing significant creasing, spine wear, and dog-eared corners. Inserts: The front and back cover art and the WWF promotional flyer show minor rippling but remain bright with no significant fading or moisture damage.
