Description
This maritime themed limited edition print by R. Michelson is presented on lined ledger style paper. The composition depicts technical studies of nautical equipment, including an eight foot flat bottom fishing boat with crossed oars, a tin of Jefferys Marine Canoe Glue, and a coiled length of rope. The work features various handwritten inscriptions in cursive, including the title 8′ Flat Bottom Fishing Boat and the descriptive text Jefferys glue is a quick repair for wooden boats. The piece is signed and copyrighted R. Michelson © ’88 to the right of the rope, with a second signature and edition number 236/1900 located in the lower right corner. Two small labels printed with the letters E and F are affixed to the upper left corner. The print is housed in a modern black wooden frame under glass.

Condition report:
The work is in very good condition with no visible foxing, staining, or damage to the paper. The frame shows minor surface wear and light scuffing consistent with age and handling.
