Description
This group of coins features various international numismatic issues, highlighted by 1960-D US Lincoln cents in Large Date and Small Date varieties. These copper-bronze pennies are presented in a labeled black plastic holder. US silver coinage includes an 1899 Barber quarter and an 1855 Seated Liberty half dime with arrows at the date. The collection also contains a gold-toned 1776-1976 Bicentennial Kennedy half dollar featuring the Independence Hall reverse. Canadian issues are represented by a pair of bronze 1-cent pieces from 1912 and 1916 featuring the George V obverse with the legend GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: REX ET IND: IMP: and a maple leaf wreath reverse. The UK is represented by a 1916 bronze penny featuring George V with the legend GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP: and a Britannia reverse. Soviet Union coinage includes a pair of nickel-colored 10 kopek coins from 1961 and 1962 with the state emblem and Cyrillic text CCCP and KOПEEK. These coins represent a diverse cross-section of mid-19th to late-20th century circulation and commemorative issues from four major nations.
