Description
Three US Walking Liberty half dollars struck in 90% silver. The group consists of one 1920 Philadelphia mint issue, one 1927 San Francisco mint issue, and one 1942 Philadelphia mint issue. The 1927 specimen features the S mint mark on the reverse, while the 1920 and 1942 issues lack mint marks. All coins feature the Walking Liberty obverse and the eagle reverse. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination HALF DOLLAR.
Condition report:
The coins are in heavily circulated condition. All three examples show significant wear to the design elements, dark toning, and surface grime. Various contact marks and surface abrasions are visible on both the obverse and reverse of each coin.
