Description
A rectangular cast composite wall plaque produced by HenFeathers of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The plaque features a high-relief botanical depiction of the Iris xiphium, or Spanish Iris. The relief decoration includes two open blooms and several buds rendered in shades of purple and blue with green stems and leaves. The background is finished in an off-white color with a textured, faux-stone appearance and irregular, intentionally chipped edges. The lower-left corner is incised and painted with the script inscription Iris Xiphium. The reverse side features a metal sawtooth hanger and a square paper manufacturer label with a three-bird logo, the company name HenFeathers, and the location King of Prussia, PA 19406.
Condition report:
The plaque is in good condition. Minor chips are visible along the edges, which appear to be consistent with the manufacturer\'s intentional aged stone design. The reverse shows a red marker mark over the manufacturer\'s label.
