Description
A crystal vase in the Caprice pattern from the Marquis by Waterford line. This decorative flower vase features a tapered ovoid form with a flat circular base. The body is decorated with deep, sweeping vertical wedge cuts that create a fluid swirling effect, which are anchored at the bottom by a series of radial fan-shaped cuts. The high-clarity crystalline material provides significant light refraction through the precisely cut facets. The underside of the base bears an acid-etched maker mark reading MARQUIS BY on the first line and Waterford in a Gothic-style script on the second line. Height: 7.25 inches Maximum Diameter: 4.75 inches.
Condition report:
The vase is in very good overall condition. The glass is clear and bright with no signs of clouding. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible. Minor surface scratches consistent with shelf wear are present on the underside of the base.
