Description
A heavy Swedish lead crystal bowl in the Orion pattern, designed by Jan Johansson for Orrefors. The bowl features a modern trilateral form with substantial wall thickness and a broad, polished rim. The exterior surface is decorated with deep, polished vertical mitre cuts that radiate from the base toward the rim, creating high prismatic light refraction. The underside of the base bears an etched cursive signature for Orrefors along with partially legible production codes. Four circular felt pads are attached to the base to prevent surface scratching.Width: 7.125 inchesHeight: 3.75 inches.
Condition report:
The bowl is in excellent condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or surface cloudiness. The crystal retains high brilliance throughout. Minimal shelf wear is present on the underside of the base.
