Description
This large-scale graphic work features a stylized blue dragon in a dynamic, soaring pose against a dark-stained wood grain background. The piece is a painted wood relief construction on a plywood panel, where the dragon’s form is composed of separate layers applied to the surface. Executed in a bold, illustrative style similar to modern mascot or comic book art, the dragon is rendered in light blue with white accents on its underbelly, wings, and claws. A red tongue and eye provide color contrast, and the entire figure is defined by thick black outlines. The work is held in a slim, dark metal frame and is wired for hanging on the verso. The back of the piece is finished with a white board and features a handwritten note of the dimensions in blue marker. No signature or date is visible.48 x 35 inches.
