Description
A vintage designer statement belt manufactured by Salena’s Collection. The item is constructed from cream-colored leather with a reptile-embossed texture and a smooth leather lining. The front section is heavily embellished with a three-dimensional sculptural scene featuring a carved resin fish, cream resin leaves, and metallic bronze-finished leaves. A fringe of dark brown polished wooden or seed pod dangles is attached to the side, accented by a strand of alternating cream and black beads that runs along the lower edge of the decorative panel. The interior features a black woven label that reads Salena’s Collection, A NEW ATTITUDE IN BELTS, ©1986. The fastening mechanism consists of a narrow leather strap and a silver-toned metal buckle.Size: Approximately 70 cm.
Condition report:
The belt is in good vintage condition. There is minor creasing to the interior leather lining and light surface wear consistent with age. All decorative components, including the fish, leaves, and beads, are intact and present.
