Description
A pair of vintage handcrafted mixed media Buyer’s Choice holiday figurines depicting Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, in the style of traditional Buyer’s Choice artisan carolers. Each figure features a molded head with hand-painted facial details and a wire-armature body dressed in red velvet and felt garments.
The Santa Claus figure is dressed in a red velvet suit with white faux-fur trim and a matching hat. He features a full white faux-fur beard and holds a small, snow-dusted green bottle-brush Christmas tree. The figure is secured to a circular, hand-painted dark green base.
The Mrs. Claus figure is designed with an expressive face featuring wire-rimmed glasses and an open mouth. She is dressed in a red velvet bodice and skirt, accented by a white lace-trimmed apron and a white lace bonnet. A red and green plaid ribbon is used for a bow at her neck and a sash at her waist.
