Description
This lot comprises an assortment of eight holiday-themed figurines, including a large Santa Claus, a tall wooden folk art figure, and a six-piece puzzle-style nativity set. The largest piece is a cast resin Santa Claus designed in the style of Jim Shore Heartwood Creek, featuring a simulated hand-carved wood appearance, quilt-patterned borders, and a multi-colored landscape depicting a village with a church painted on the front of the robe. The figure is depicted holding a miniature white church and carrying a green sack. The second large piece is a primitive, flat-profile wooden figure with hand-painted features, depicting a bearded man in a light blue cap, red and white striped shirt, and white trousers. The collection is completed by a six-piece nativity and Magi set crafted from carved figured hardwood. These figures utilize an interlocking puzzle-style construction. The set includes three standing Magi and a three-piece representation of the Holy Family consisting of Mary, Joseph, and the Christ child.
