Description
A tall, narrow contemporary media storage tower of wooden construction. The exterior is finished in a solid medium blue paint, while the interior and fixed horizontal shelving slats are finished with a reddish-brown wood stain. The unit features approximately 40 individual horizontal slots designed for standard compact disc jewel cases. The base section contains a larger open compartment with vertical dividers for storing larger cases or cassette tapes. The design is in the style of the solid oak towers manufactured by Wood Shed. Included with the tower is a collection of compact discs and cassette tapes. Legible artists on the spines include The Beatles, Neil Diamond, Barbra Streisand, Simon & Garfunkel, Raffi, and various classical and holiday compilations. A “Patsy Cline Gold” CD is also included in the lot. Other furniture pieces shown in the background are not included.
Condition report:
The storage tower is in used condition, showing minor wear and surface scuffs to the blue painted finish typical of household use. The internal shelving and structure appear sound. The included media and cases show varying degrees of shelf wear; media has not been tested for playability.
