Description
This primitive style bench is constructed from a solid hardwood plank top with a dark-stained finish. The piece features traditional joinery with four tapered, splayed legs joined to the seat using through-tenon construction. Four circular wedged dowel ends are clearly visible on the top surface, indicative of the assembly method. The wood surface displays prominent grain patterns along with character-adding distressing, including small pits and surface irregularities throughout. No maker marks or labels were identified on the visible surfaces.
