Lot 178:
Description
This lot features two distinct decorative wall-hanging pieces. The first is a primitive accent mirror crafted from a repurposed vintage six-lite wooden window sash. The frame shows heavy weathering with exposed grain and remnants of white paint, finished with an original metal sash lock at the top. The central vertical column contains two inset mirror panes, while the outer panes are open. The second piece is a small wooden shelf in a distressed dark navy paint finish. The shelf displays a collection of eight folk art figurines, including two figures in the style of Willow Tree with wire wings, two miniature wooden birdhouses, a tall crackle-glazed angel with wire mesh wings, and three primitive wooden figures hanging from the lower support rail.
Height: Approximately 21 inches (Mirror).
Condition report:
The mirror glass displays heavy foxing, spotting, and silvering loss throughout, characteristic of vintage plates and the primitive style. Both the window frame and the shelf exhibit intentional distressing and weathering. All eight figurines appear to be in good overall condition.
