Description
A Delta benchtop jointer designed for squaring and flattening wood surfaces. The tool is housed in a blue-gray painted metal chassis and features aluminum infeed and outfeed tables. It is equipped with a tall, ribbed aluminum adjustable fence. A spring-loaded red plastic safety guard covers the cutterhead. The front control panel includes a red rocker-style power switch, a variable speed adjustment dial with numerical settings from 1 to 5, and a printed reference chart titled SPEED SELECTION CHART. This chart provides recommended settings for various cutting widths across material categories including plastics, soft woods, and hard woods. The primary identification label reads DELTA 6 INCH VARIABLE SPEED BENCH JOINTER. A red safety decal is located on the left side of the infeed table. A black power cord is connected to the side of the unit.
Condition report:
The item is in used, workshop-ready condition. Visible sawdust and wood debris are present throughout the housing and mechanical components. Minor surface oxidation and light pitting are observed on the aluminum table surfaces and the fence. All knobs, switches, and the safety guard appear to be intact and in place. The machine has not been tested for electrical or mechanical functionality.
