Description
A collection of three vintage promotional toy vehicles produced for the Amerada Hess Corporation of Woodbridge, New Jersey. This group includes a variety of models released in different years, all constructed primarily of plastic with metal components and integrated electronics.
The first item is a Hess Toy Truck Bank, featuring a semi-trailer tanker design with Hess Gasoline Fuel Oils branding. The original box depicts a winter scene with ice skaters. This model functions as a promotional savings bank and features a coin slot. Markings on the end flap indicate it was manufactured in Hong Kong.
The second item is the 1995 Hess Truck and Helicopter set. It consists of a flatbed transport truck carrying a helicopter. The packaging notes features such as functional head and tail lights, as well as operating rotors and lights on the helicopter component. The truck bears a license plate reading Hess 1995. Markings indicate it was manufactured in China with a 1995 copyright.
The third item is the 2000 Hess Fire Truck, an articulated ladder truck. The box identifies several features including working head and tail lights, emergency sirens, a horn, and a heavy-duty extension ladder. The vehicle features a license plate reading Hess 2000.
