Description
This lot consists of three vintage toy trucks produced for the Amerada Hess Corporation. Each vehicle is housed in its original illustrated cardboard box. The collection includes a 1989 Hess Toy Fire Truck, a 1994 Hess Rescue Truck, and a 2005 Hess Emergency Truck with Rescue Vehicle. The trucks are constructed primarily from plastic with metal components and internal battery-operated electronic mechanisms for light and sound features.
The 1989 Toy Fire Truck is white with green accents and a red ladder, featuring a coin bank function and license plate 1989. The 1994 Rescue Truck is white with green and red accents, featuring an emergency siren and license plate HESS 1994. The 2005 Emergency Truck is a red vehicle with white and green accents, accompanied by a smaller friction-motor rescue vehicle and license plate HESS 2005. Each box features printed manufacturer information for Amerada Hess Corporation, Woodbridge, New Jersey, and is marked Made in China.
Condition report:
The original cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear including edge rubbing, minor creasing, and softening at the corners. The 2005 box shows slight bowing to the cardboard. The trucks remain in their original packaging; internal completeness and the functionality of electronic lights, sirens, and sound effects are untested. Items are sold as-is.
