Description

This collection features various pieces of American Brilliant Period style tableware, including cut lead crystal and pressed glass serving items. The assembly includes a large pitcher with deep miter cuts forming pinwheel, hobstar, and fan motifs, complete with a notched handle and star-cut base. A tall pedestal compote is included, featuring a scalloped rim with hobstar and fan patterns on a fluted hexagonal stem. A low pedestal cakestand or compote displays a geometric pattern with a serrated rim. Also present is a large bowl with a notched rim and alternating panels of diamond-point hobnail and fan cuts, an oval serving dish with central hobstars and fan-cut edges, and a medium-sized round bowl with cut floral and geometric starburst patterns. Smaller items include a handled creamer with hobstar cuts, a small handled vessel with a pressed glass pattern and a gilt rim, and a small circular open salt with star and diamond-point patterns.
