A collection of 1847 Rogers Bros silver-plated flatware in the First Love pattern, which was first introduced in 1937. The pattern is characterized by elegant floral clusters and classic scrollwork detailing along the handles. The flatware is constructed of silver plate over a base metal, and the dinner knives are fitted with stainless steel blades. The handles of the pieces are stamped with the marks 1847 ROGERS BROS, I S within two small square boxes, and the pattern name First Love in a cursive script.
