Description
A vintage Moroccan Berber flatweave wool rug, commonly known as a kilim or hanbal. This handmade textile features a vibrant red field organized into multiple horizontal bands. These bands are decorated with traditional geometric tribal motifs, including stepped diamonds, zig-zags, and checkerboard patterns in a palette of orange, white, and black. A vertical geometric border frames the central design along the long edges. The rug exhibits a classic flatweave construction where the pattern is integrated into the weave, visible on both the face and the reverse. The ends are finished with a red self-fringe.
