Description
This framed color offset lithograph after an original watercolor by Debby Prager McCullough depicts the historic waterfront of Chestertown, Maryland. The panoramic composition features a row of Colonial-style houses, including a prominent red brick structure and several white-clapboard homes with multi-story porches, nestled among lush green trees. Their forms are reflected in the calm water of the foreground. The print is hand-signed in pencil by the artist in the lower-left margin, numbered 64/500 in the center, and titled in the lower-right margin. A printed signature is also visible within the image on the left side. A smaller, separate print of the same subject is inset into the lower portion of the mat as a remarque. The artwork is professionally matted in cream with a thin green border and is housed in a dark-toned wooden frame with a gilded inner fillet.
