This is a 1939 Japanese Arisaka Type 99 rifle 7.7mmx58mm cartridge bolt action in very good condition with smooth movement and includes the often missing Bayonet. The Japanese Arisaka rifle is a bolt-action rifle used by the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy during World War II. These rifles have a long and storied history and they are prized by collectors and history enthusiasts for their unique design and historical significance. These rifles were produced during World War II, Type 99 from 1939 to 1945 but many were lost, destroyed, or captured during the war. As a result, surviving examples of the Arisaka rifle are relatively rare, which makes them highly sought after by collectors. In addition, the models of the Arisaka rifle, including the Type 38 and Type 99, can be quite rare to come across in today’s market and are highly prized by collectors.
