Description
This lot features two clear glass vessels designed for pharmaceutical or laboratory use. The first item is a two-part specialized storage jar comprised of a cylindrical base and a separate upper glass section with a flared rim. The two components are joined by a wide metal collar assembly. The metal band is stamped BTE S.G.D.G on the exterior. The lower edge of the upper metal fitting is marked MARQUE & MODELE DEPOSE and features a diamond-shaped cartouche with the letters E and R flanking a central ampersand. The second item is a cylindrical reagent jar with a wide, ground glass inner rim and a matching clear glass stopper featuring a disc top and a ground glass plug for an airtight seal. Condition report:
Both items are in good antique condition. The two-part jar has no visible chips or cracks to the glass, while the metal fittings show minor surface oxidation and wear consistent with age. The reagent jar is free of chips and cracks, with minor surface shelf wear and slight internal cloudiness present.
