Description
This lot comprises three US Walking Liberty half dollars. The group includes one 1942-S specimen from the San Francisco Mint and two specimens from the Philadelphia Mint dated 1944 and 1946. Each coin is struck in 90% silver and features the Walking Liberty obverse and reverse designs by Adolph A. Weinman. The 1942-S coin is identified by the S mint mark located on the reverse. The 1944 and 1946 coins do not bear mint marks. All specimens feature reeded edges.Diameter: 30.6 mmWeight: 12.5 gramsComposition: 0.900 silver, 0.100 copper.
Condition report:
The coins exhibit varying circulated conditions. The 1942-S shows significant wear with dark, even toning. The 1944 specimen has been previously cleaned, resulting in a bright but flat surface. The 1946 coin shows moderate wear with some original luster remaining in protected areas. All coins are uncertified.
