Description
This item is a primitive-style bucket bench, also known as a storage or cobbler bench, designed in an Early American aesthetic. The piece is constructed from solid wood and features a rectangular box-top with canted side panels. The top surface serves as a lid for a shallow interior storage compartment. The structure is supported by two solid board bootjack style legs which are joined by a single open lower shelf. It features a matte black painted finish that has been intentionally distressed along the edges to expose the lighter natural wood beneath. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces.
