Description
An assortment of American primitive-style and folk art decorative objects presented on a hanging wooden shelf. The wall-mounted shelf is finished in a distressed reddish-brown paint and features two small drawers with round wooden knobs, suspended by leather hanging loops. The collection includes a tall, stylized wooden angel figure in the primitive style, featuring a blue-painted body with three wooden button accents, wide brown-painted wings, and a small wooden sign reading ANGEL CROSSING. To the right is a stuffed fabric turkey figure wearing a black pilgrim hat with a buckle and a black bow, with wings and tail feathers constructed from various patterned and floral fabrics. Additional items include a circular woven wicker frame containing a cross-stitch embroidery piece with the word Joy and the date 1989, a dark brown oval box used as a holder for a white taper candle, and a miniature painted wooden birdhouse ornament suspended from one of the drawer knobs.
