Description
A collection of kitchen cutlery and storage blocks including an assortment of knives from various manufacturers. The group includes several knives marked Wusthof, Dreizackwerk, Solingen, Germany, featuring the brand’s trident logo. These knives are constructed with stainless steel blades and black composite handles secured with metal rivets. Other knives in the collection feature metal end caps inscribed with identifying information such as 6 inch Utility and 3 1/2 inch Par. The assortment also contains knives with contoured wood handles and various blade profiles. The collection is housed in two wooden storage blocks. The first is a two-tiered design crafted from a light-toned wood. The second is a single-piece angled block in a dark-stained wood finish.
Condition report:
The collection exhibits signs of regular use. The knives show varying degrees of wear to the handles and blades, including scratches and evidence of sharpening. The light wood block shows minor surface wear. The dark-stained wooden block displays significant surface discoloration and darkening concentrated near the base. The set is assorted and may not be complete as originally issued.
