Description
This collection includes several glazed ceramic teapots and stacked tea-for-one sets featuring various hand-painted and transfer-printed motifs. The assortment includes a large teapot with a hand-painted rooster motif on a cream-colored body, accented by a yellow relief-molded basketweave pattern on the base and lid. Also included is a three-piece figural tea-for-one set in the form of a snowman, featuring an iridescent luster finish and painted details, in the style of MESA Home Products. A round teapot is decorated with a large sunflower and the script inscription, I shall take the time each day to sit among the Sunflowers. Completing the group are two stacked tea-for-one sets: one featuring blue floral sprigs on a white ground with a blue-rimmed lid, and another with delicate purple and blue wildflower motifs on a cream-colored ground. No maker marks or factory stamps are clearly visible on the items.
Large Rooster Teapot: 7.25 inches tall
Snowman Tea-for-One Set: 7.25 inches tall
Sunflower Teapot: 5.5 inches tall.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition. There are no significant chips, cracks, or visible repairs. Minor surface wear and shelf wear consistent with light decorative use or age may be present.
