Description
This modernist Studio Craft low bench or coffee table is designed in the style of George Nakashima. The piece is constructed from a single, heavy solid wood slab, likely walnut, featuring a prominent live edge along one side. The top is supported by two thick solid slab legs secured to the underside with wooden cleats. The underside contains faint, handwritten pencil or marker notations that are not clearly legible. The wood displays a warm, reddish-brown finish with active grain and natural character marks.

Condition report:
The bench is in fair to good condition, showing significant signs of age and use. The top surface exhibits numerous prominent water rings, surface stains, and scattered scratches.
