Description

This assortment contains various international banknotes of diverse origins and denominations. The group includes South Korean currency, notably multiple 100 Won denominations featuring a gate vignette and a 1000 Won note portraying Syngman Rhee (block 111). Canadian currency is represented by 1954 series $1 and $2 notes featuring Queen Elizabeth II, with serial numbers J7994928 and Z7664744 respectively. Other items include a German 1923 Eine Million Mark inflationary note (serial 066326), two Belize $2 notes with portraits of Queen Elizabeth II (one dated January 1, 2002), and a Grand-Duche de Luxembourg 20 Francs note (serial D973443). Also present are a Japanese 100 Yen note featuring Prince Shotoku, two Central Bank of China 10 Customs Gold Unit notes, a Bulgarian 50 Leva note, and a US Series 472 5-cent Military Payment Certificate. The notes are printed on security paper using various intaglio and lithographic methods.

Condition report:

The collection is in circulated condition, ranging generally from Good to Very Fine. Most notes exhibit heavy vertical and horizontal folds, creasing, and corner rounding. Paper toning, foxing, and staining are evident, particularly on the German inflationary note and the earlier South Korean issues. The Belize notes appear to be in higher grade with crisper paper and fewer folds. No notes are housed in professional third-party grading slabs.
