Description
A traditional Colonial Revival style grandfather clock, attributed to Emperor, constructed in a one-piece hardwood case with a warm, medium-toned finish. The hood is topped with a classic swan neck pediment and a central turned finial, featuring an arched glass door flanked by decorative turned pilasters. The central waist section is fitted with a full-length arched glass door, providing a view of the internal mechanical components including three polished brass weights and a matching brass-finished pendulum suspended by chains. The clock dial features a silver-toned chapter ring with black Arabic numerals, ornate pierced metal hands, and decorative gilt-metal spandrels at the corners. The arch of the dial includes a functional rotating moon phase disc with a painted moon face. The unit rests on a simple rectangular plinth base with molded trim and includes original dark-finished metal hardware.

Condition report:
The clock case and glass components appear to be in good overall condition. Minor surface wear and light scuffs are visible along the edges of the base consistent with age and typical household use. The mechanical movement and timekeeping accuracy have not been tested.
