Description
A large, shallow circular ceramic platter manufactured in Colombia for the American wholesaler Country Originals, Inc. The interior of the platter features a mottled reactive glaze in shades of green and dark brown. This glaze is applied over concentric incised rings that radiate from the center to create a spiral effect. The wide rim and the entire exterior are finished in a deep, high-gloss chocolate brown glaze. The exterior surface is further decorated with tight, concentric ribs. The base has a raised, unglazed foot ring. A circular white sticker is present on the base, featuring a stylized graphic of a flute player and the text MADE IN COLOMBIA, Country Originals, Inc., and FOR COUNTRY ORIGINALS.

Condition report:
This piece is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. There is minor shelf wear and light scuffing on the unglazed foot ring consistent with age and use.
