Description
A large shadow box sculpture by artist K. William Kantz titled Kissing Bottle Fish. The work features two three-dimensional fish figures facing each other with mouths touching. Each fish is decorated with a detailed pattern of overlapping scales and a mottled green and bronze-toned patina. The figures are mounted to a light cream-colored mat and housed in a deep wooden shadow box frame with a distressed black finish and a protective glass front. The artwork is signed in pencil by the artist on the mat board below the central point of the sculptures. The reverse side is fitted with D-ring hanging hardware.

Condition report:
The sculpture and internal components are in good condition with no visible damage or repairs. The glass is clear and free of cracks. The frame features an intentional distressed surface consistent with the style of the piece, with light surface dust and minor wear to the outer edges consistent with age and handling.
