Description
This black and white silver gelatin print depicts a detailed interior scene within a decoy carving workshop, identified as the shop of R. Madison Mitchell in Havre de Grace, Maryland. The photograph captures four men gathered around a central potbelly stove; one man stands pouring fuel into the stove while three others are seated nearby. The man on the far left holds a shotgun, and the man on the far right holds a beagle puppy.
