Description
A clear glass rectangular decanter with rounded shoulders, produced by Holmegaard for their 1987 Christmas series. The vessel features polychrome enamel-painted decorations on two sides. One side depicts a young girl in a red and yellow dress peering through a green-framed window at potted red tulips. The reverse side illustrates a green birdhouse on a stand populated by several white and yellow birds, positioned above a yellow decorative fence featuring heart-shaped motifs. The decanter includes its original cork stopper, which is finished with a brass circular pull ring. The design was originally created by Jette Frolich and Michael Bang.

Condition report:
The decanter is in good overall condition with no apparent chips, cracks, or repairs to the glass body. The enamel decoration is vibrant and complete with no significant losses. The original cork stopper shows minor surface wear and discoloration consistent with age and use but remains fully functional.
