Description
This vintage condiment or preserve jar is composed of a bulbous blown-molded glass body with a cased opaque pink color and a satin, acid-etched finish. The glass features a raised diamond quilted pattern throughout the exterior. It is fitted with a dark metal lid that possesses a deep patina and an embossed floral wreath design on the domed top. The motif consists of scrolls and small blossoms. No maker’s marks, signatures, stamps, or labels are readable on either the glass body or the metal lid. A dark residue and metal transfer markings are present on the exterior rim of the glass where the lid is seated.

Condition report:
The glass body is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs (photos 1, 2, 4). There is a dark residue and metal transfer marking along the exterior rim of the glass where the lid rests (photo 4). The metal lid exhibits a dark, oxidized patina and shows minor surface wear and rubbing consistent with age (photos 1, 2, 4).
