Description
A Canon Canola L100S desktop electronic calculator. The device is housed in a molded off-white plastic casing with a dark brown display bezel. It features a ten-digit display window with printed numerals 1 through 10 and an “OVF” overflow indicator. The keyboard consists of square plastic keys, including gray keys for digits 0-9 and arithmetic functions, and a black constant (K) key. Two horizontal slide switches allow for decimal point selection (F, 4, 3, 2, 0) and rounding control (5/4 and truncation). The unit includes an integrated gray power cord with a two-prong North American plug. A nameplate on the top face is printed “Canon Canola L100S”. The rear of the unit features a black adhesive label printed “Canon” and a white adhesive label printed “CAUTION DISCONNECT SUPPLY CORD BEFORE OPENING”.
Condition report:
Surface scuffs, light scratches, and general yellowing of the plastic casing are visible (photos 1, 3). Dust and debris have accumulated in the crevices between keys and within the top cooling vents (photo 3). The rear caution label shows surface wear and peeling at the corners (photo 4). White adhesive residue is present on the power cord near the point of entry into the unit (photo 4). The item is untested; its working status is unknown.
