The piece is constructed from a stained softwood, likely pine, featuring a simple primitive design. It is built with a single-plank top that displays visible fastener marks and a natural wood grain. Below the seat is a single full-width drawer fitted with two turned wooden knobs. The bench is supported by wide slab ends with decorative bootjack cutouts.
