Description
This is a Star Trek Limited Edition Monopoly board game, manufactured by USAopoly, Inc. in 2000 under license from Parker Brothers (Hasbro) and Paramount Pictures. The game is themed after Star Trek: The Original Series. The set remains housed in its original box and is factory-sealed in shrink-wrap. According to the product packaging, the game includes a themed game board, eight collectible pewter tokens depicting Captain Kirk, Commander Spock, Dr. Leonard McCoy, Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott, Lieutenant Sulu, Lieutenant Uhura, Ensign Pavel Chekov, and Nurse Christine Chapel, 32 starships, 12 space stations, 28 Alliance Deed cards, 16 Starfleet Orders, 16 Captain’s Log cards, and seven denominations of Federation credits. The package also specifies the inclusion of a numbered Certificate of Authenticity featuring a facsimile signature of William Shatner. The box displays logos for USAopoly, Star Trek Communicator, and Star Trek Continuum. Fine print on the bottom margin credits Hasbro and Paramount Pictures, noting the game was created and distributed by USAopoly, Inc., Encinitas, California. Condition report:
The board game is in factory-sealed, unopened condition. The original shrink-wrap is intact with minor surface scuffing and light shelf wear. There is a small yellow adhesive price sticker on the upper right corner of the front box panel.
