Description

A Franklin Heirloom collectible doll representing Queen Elizabeth I from the Queens of England series. The doll features a bisque porcelain head and hands with hand-painted facial features, including brown eyes and pale pink lips. She is styled with voluminous auburn hair topped with a black cap, a red floral ornament, and a white feather. The intricate historical costume consists of a multi-tiered white pleated lace ruff collar and a black velvet-style bodice adorned with three strands of white beaded necklaces. The full-length white satin-style sleeves are finished with lace cuffs. The ensemble includes an open-front black velvet-style overdress trimmed with white piping, small red ribbon bows, and white bead clusters, worn over a cream-colored satin-style underdress with a wide white lace hem.
