Description
This is a large-scale character marionette manufactured by Geppetto. The doll features a hand-painted composition head and hands with a padded cloth body constructed over an internal frame. The figure is designed with a highly expressive face and fixed, hand-painted eyes. The original costume consists of a brown and black multi-panel velvet suit featuring black floral damask patterns. The outfit includes a matching oversized hat adorned with a natural fiber plume and a decorative button, a dark brown waist belt, and a secondary weathered-style miniature theatrical mask secured to the torso. The marionette is equipped with its original three-piece black wooden cross-bar control mechanism and black rigging strings. The sole of the right foot is marked with the cursive signature Geppettol.

Condition report:
The item is in overall good condition. The hand-painted facial details and composition hands are well-preserved with no visible chips or cracks. The fabric costume is clean and intact. There is minor fraying to the natural fiber plume on the hat. The control strings are currently tangled but appear to be complete and attached to the original wooden controls.
