Description
A tall arched lantern-style outdoor wall sconce by Maxim Lighting of Los Angeles, California. The fixture is constructed of solid brass featuring a heavy green verdigris patina finish. The design includes a three-sided housing with clear beveled glass panels on the front and sides, topped by an arched section containing three panels of white opaque glass. The interior is fitted with two candelabra-base light sockets mounted to a central stem. The reverse of the fixture features a flat mounting plate stamped WALL MOUNT ONLY and includes a yellow Underwriters Laboratories (UL) label identifying the manufacturer. A foil brand sticker is also present on the front glass panel. This is a hardwired unit with cut electrical leads.
16.5 inches height x 5.5 inches width x 4 inches depth.
Condition report:
The fixture exhibits an intentional heavy verdigris patina with additional natural weathering and tonal variation consistent with outdoor exposure. There is visible dust, residue, and water spotting on both the interior and exterior glass panels. The reverse mounting plate shows numerous fingerprints, smudges, and minor surface scuffing. The electrical leads are cut short, and the fixture is untested; professional inspection or rewiring is recommended prior to installation.
