Description

This lot comprises a collection of decorative objects including a neoclassical style bust planter, two glass cloches, a large shallow glass dish bird bath bowl, and a flower-form glass element. The bust depicts a head with downcast eyes wearing a laurel leaf wreath, cast in a composite material with a patinated bronze-tone finish. The interior of the head is hollow, suggesting its use as a planter or vessel. The two clear glass cloches vary in design; one features a spherical knob finial at the top, while the other is a bell-shaped dome with a flat top. The large, circular glass dish is shallow and features a radial textured pattern impressed into the underside. A flower-form element, possibly a component of a hanging light fixture, is made of green-tinted glass with multi-tiered pointed petals and is attached to a multi-strand metal chain. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible on any of the items.

The neoclassical bust stands approximately 9.5 inches tall as measured against the ruler in photo 2.
The large glass dish measures approximately 15.75 inches in diameter as shown by the yardstick in photo 4.

Condition report:

The neoclassical bust features a weathered finish with white powdery residue in the recessed areas (photo 1), which appears to be an intentional aged aesthetic rather than damage. Significant reddish-brown staining or residue is visible across the interior surface of the large glass dish (photo 4). The metal chain attached to the flower-form glass element is heavily oxidized and rusted (photo 3). Both glass cloches and the glass portions of the flower-form element appear to be in good condition without visible chips or cracks.
